The Virginian-Pilot, Tuesday, May 28, 1974

NORFOLK - Mrs. Hattie M. Wise, 78, of 2422 Middle Ave., the widow of James Wise Sr.,
died Sunday in a hospital.

A native of Chester County, Lawrysville, S.C. she was a member of Flat Rock Baptist
Church of Lawrysville.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Louise M. Hayes of Norfolk.

A funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in mt. Olive Baptist Church by the
Rev.H.T. Myers. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Jones Funeral Home in
charge.
