Witzl who had worked as a stevedore, was born in Norfolk, the son of Martin and 
Mrs. Anna Lawler Witzl. Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. 
Barbara W. Cando of Lynnhaven and Mrs. Catherine W. Cando, of Norfolk and two 
brothers, Francis P. Witzl a member of the Norfolk police force and Martin J. 
Witzl, Jr., also of Norfolk.

WITZL, MICHAEL JOSEPH - At a local hospital, Sunday afternoon, January 27, 1952, 
at 4 o'clock, Michael Joseph Witzl, son of Martin and Anna Lawler Witzl, in the 
30th year of his age.  Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown 
Funeral Home Thursday afternoon, January 31, 1952, at 3 o'clock.  Friends of the 
family are invited to attend.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
