MRS. MERNA S. WOCKEN

NORFOLK - Mrs. Merna Sheldon Wocken, 33, of 1145 Jordan St., the wife of Thomas 
Raymond Wocken and a daughter of George Sheldon and Mrs. William Cook, died 
Tuesday in Portsmouth Naval Hospital.

A native of Sydney, Neb., she lived here four years.

Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by three daughters, Teresa Marie 
Wocken, Agnes Elizabeth Wocken, and Debora Lynn Wocken, and two sons, Paul Thomas 
Wocken and George Edward Wocken, all of Norfolk; two sisters, Miss Betty White of 
Los Angeles and Mrs. Ruby Marchetti of Providence, R.I.; and two brothers, Air 
Force S. Sgt. Leslie Sheldon and Weldon Sheldon of Pochton, Wash.

A funeral service will be conducted in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Colley 
Avenue, Thursday at 9:30 a.m.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

The Rosary will be said in H. D. Oliver funeral apartments tonight at 7.
