WOLF, KATE MORTON - Died Monday afternoon, July 4, 1938, at 5 o'clock, MRS. KATE 
MORTON WOLF, widow of J. George Wolf, in the 69th year of her age 
Remains will be taken from the Derry Funeral Chapel, 1920 Colley Avenue, corner 
of Harrington, to the St. Mary's Catholic Church for funeral services WEDNESDAY 
MORNING, July 6, at 10 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend.  
Burial St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mrs. Kate Morton Wolf, aged 68, died yesterday at 5 o'clock after a long 
illness. She was the daughter of Peter and Mary Morton, a native of Portsmouth 
and had resided in Norfolk practically all of her life. She was the widow of J. 
George Wolf and is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Rhanhorn, of Norfolk 
and Mrs. Kathlene Fairchild, of San Francisco; two sons, W.C. Wolf, of Norfolk 
and J.G. Wolf, of Louisana, Fla. and two brothers Pete and Joseph Morton, both 
of Norfolk. She was a member of Palmetto Grove No. 3 Woodmen Circle.
The body is at the Derry Funeral Chapel from which it will be taken to St. 
Mary's Catholic Church for funeral services tomorrow at 10 a.m. The Rev. E.A. 
Brosnan, pastor of the church will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.
