Also attacked were two young women, who were taken to an Augusta, Ga. hospital where they were listed in satisfactory condition with their throats slashed. The Chesapeake man was William Martin Wolf Jr., 25, of 619 Beach St., Chesapeake. The other man was identified as Tommy Bolen, 26, of Aiken. The women are Faye Cato of Aiken and Connie Young of North Augusta. Both were reported to be about 18. Sheriff Pual Grant reconstructed events as the police had been able to piece them together as follows: The four were watching television about 2 a.m. when several men came in. The women tried to leave, but found their car tires slashed. A fight followed. One of the victims was found face-down in a pool of blood on the floor and the other lying across a bed. The men had their hands tied behind them, their feet tied to their hands, and a rope around their necks tied to their feet. The women were reportedly tied up, but were able to free themselves and Miss Cato managed to get to a neighboring house to get help. The motorcycle club to which the men belonged is the Dixie Dragons. Police said they had never been troublemakers, although there have been rumors of difficulties with motorcycle gangs in Charleston, S.C. and Macon, Ga. Wolf had lived in South Norfolk all his life.
