Funeral services were conducted at the Citizens Funeral Home Sunday, Jan. 25 at 
2 p.m.  for Thomas Lovelace Womack by the Rev. Oliver C. Welch.

He died Jan. 18 at his residence, 1424 Church street, after a long illness.

The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Abner Womack, Mr. Womack was a native of 
Danville but had resided in Norfolk for more than 30 years.  He was a member of 
Excelsior Masonic Lodge No. 85, the Royal Arch and Consistory, and was a member 
of the New Calvary Baptist church.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Rebecca Powell of Stamford CT.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with the Citizens Funeral Home in charge.
