The Virginian Pilot Monday April 11, 1960
 Mrs. Violet Lowe Wonycott, 67, widow of George L. Wonycott and daughter of 
William T. and Ella Duke Lowe, died in a Norfolk hospital Sunday at 6 p.m.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Winifred D. Hawkins and Mrs. Charles C. 
Cheshire of Norfolk; two brothers, Robert W. Lowe of Richmond and Marvin D. 
Lowe of Norfolk and six grandchildren.
A native of Franklin, she had lived in Norfolk most of her life residing at 
1204 Little Bay Ave. and was a member of the Ocean View Baptist Church.
The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Magnolia Cemetery 
for a funeral service Tuesday at 11 a.m.
