Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark September 1, 1912

WOOD - Suddenly, at the Norfolk Protestant Hospital, Friday evening, August 
30, 1912, at 9:40 o'clock, Mrs. LILLIE MAY WOOD, wife of John Wood, near 
Rosemont, Norfolk county, formerly of Berkley, and daughter of the late 
George Hickman and Mrs. Rosa Stokes, in the 29th year of her age.
The funeral will take place THIS (Sunday) AFTERNOON at 4 o'clock at the 
Gospel Church.  Friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend.  
The interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley ward.

The funeral of Mrs. Lillie Mae Wood, wife of John Wood, was conducted at the 
Gospel Church yesterday afternoon and was well attended.  Rev. A.J. Ramsey, 
pastor of the church, officiated and the interment was in the family lot in 
Magnolia Cemetery.
