Virginian-Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark (Norfolk, Virginia), Monday, September 6, 1915 Page 2 Col 2. 
Mrs. Mary Virginia Wood, aged 69 years, died yesterday evening at 6:30 o'clock at 
the residence of her daughter Mrs. R. M. Price, 722 E. Twenty-sixth street, after 
a brief illness. Mrs Wood was a native of Accomack County, Virginia. A widow of 
John T. Wood and a daughter of the late Richard and Mrs. Rachel East of Accomack, 
but had been a resident of this city Forty-four years. She is survived by two sons 
and two daughters, Benjamin W., and Aaron Wood, Mrs John Berry and Mrs R. M. 
Price, all of this city. A sister Mrs. Maggie S. Wood, Clifton Springs, N. Y. She 
was a member of the Memorial Christian Temple. The funeral arrangements had not 
been completed last night.
