Mrs. Maggie Wood, of 604 Chapel street died suddenly May 27 at her residence. 
Funeral services were held June 3 at Queen Street Baptist Church with Dr. J. 
Jasper Freeman, pastor, officiating. Mrs. Wood was a native of Wake Forest, 
NC.

She is survived by two nieces, Mrs. Mable Bennett of Wilson NC; and Mrs. Emily 
Rodgers of Philadelphia PA. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Morning 
Glory Funeral Home in charge.
