The Virginian Pilot Tuesday May 8, 1962
Mrs. Dora C. Wood, of 2114 Springfield Ave., widow of Capt. Felder M. Wood and 
daughter of Robert and Mrs. Bea Whitney Randolph, died in a Norfolk hospital 
Monday at 2:50 p.m.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ann Wood Finck of Norfolk, Mrs. Maudie 
Pickup of Albany, N.Y., and Mrs. Nina Woltz of Newport News; five sons, Herbert 
M. Wood of Newport News, R.B. Wood Sr. of Norfolk, and a number of grandchildren 
and great-grandchildren.
She was a lifelong resident of Berkley.
She was a member and former Sunday School teacher of Temple Baptist Church and 
was chaplain of Three Score and Ten Club.
The body was taken to Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home. The family will be at the 
home of Mrs. Finck on Colonial Ave.
