The Virginian-Pilot, Tuesday, August 13, 1974

NORFOLK - Edmond (Man-Boy) Wood of 2709 Colson Place, a native of Lamar, S.C., and a
self-employed junk dealer, died Saturday in his home.

He was the husband of Mrs. Gertrude wood and a son of Harrison and Mrs. Onie
Mitchell Wood.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Gwendolyn Wilson of Norfolk; five brothers,
Efford Wood of Miami, Ollie J. Wood, Moses Wood, and Ruffin Wood of Brooklyn, and
Levern Wood of Atlanta; and two grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Riddick Funeral Chapel by
the Rev. J.L. Kearney. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
