Virginian-Pilot  December 25, 1925
EVELYN MAY WOOD - Funeral services for Evelyn May Wood, 7-year-old daughter of Mr. 
and Mrs. Arthur S. Wood, were held yesterday morning at 11 o'clock at H. D. 
Oliver's funeral apartments, Freemason Street.  The Rev. E. P. Gallagher of St. 
Mary's Catholic Church, officiated.  There were many in attendance and the floral 
offerings were numerous and beautiful.  The casket was covered with a double 
cluster of pink roses and ferns.  Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.  The 
following girl friends acted as honorary pallbearers, Lucy May Spruell, Mary 
Augusta Church, Edith Chase, Virginia Davis, Katherine Woodington and Anna Manns.  
Active pallbearers were Cecil Spruell, Eldridge Beck, Milton Harrison and Herbert 
Harrison.
