JOSEPHINE G. WOOD

NORFOLK - Josephine Gardner "Dear" Wood, 102, of the 3900 block of Llewellyn Ave., 
died March 10, 1989.

Mrs. Wood, a native of Southampton County, Va., was a member of Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church.  She was the widow of Alexander James Wood Jr.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Jo Wood Curoto of St. Louis, Mo.; five 
grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. today in Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church by the Rev. John Dorgan.  Burial will be at 10 a.m. today in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.  H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments is handling arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or a favorite 
charity.
