The deceased was the daughter of Mrs. Georgianna and the late Captain Frank Wood. Besides her mother she leaves two brothers, J. Leon and Edward L. Wood; two sisters, Mrs. J.H. Crowder, of Portsmouth and Mrs. T.C. Ransone, of Norfolk and one half-brother, Samuel Allen, of this city. The funeral will be solemnized from the residence, Sixteenth Street, between Granby Street and Omohundro Avenue, at 9 o'clock Saturday morning. ******************************************************************************* The obsequies of Miss Ella Van Wyck Wood, daughter of Mrs. Georgeanna and the late Capt. Frank Wood, were held from the residence, Sixteenth Street, between Granby Street and Omohundro Avenue, at 9 o'clock a.m. yesterday and was numerously attended. The service was conducted by Rev. David W. Howard, of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. There was a profusion of lovely floral tributes sent by friends of the deceased. The remains were laid to rest in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: Harry Butt, Edd Riddick, George Newton, Newton Horton, Richard Grant and S.W. Biller.
