The funeral of Mrs. Willie Mae Woodard of 517 Fenchurch street who died at a 
local hospital on Tuesday, Sept. 21, was held at Hale Chapel last Sunday with 
Rev. Mr. Brown officiating. The deceased was a native and life-long resident 
of Norfolk, and was the wife of Charles Woodard. In addition to her husband, 
Mrs. Woodard is survived by a sister and other relatives. Interment was in 
Calvary Cemetery.
