Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Jane Woodard of 701 Fauquier street, who died June 
27 in a local hospital after a long illness, were held June 29 at First Trinity 
AME Church with the Rev. H. B. Threadgill officiating. The family obituary was 
ready by Mrs. Amy Burruss, the church obituary by Rev. Mr. Threadgill and a solo 
was rendered by Mrs. Julia Carrington. Interment was made in Mt. Olive Cemetery 
with Fitchett and Bell Funeral Home in charge.
