She died in a hospital June 20. The Rev. H. Hudson Bobbitt, First Baptist pastor, presided at the service for Mrs. Wooden, who lived at 1531 W. 42nd street. The deceased was buried in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Hale Funeral Home. Mrs. Wooden was a native of Mt. Olive, NC, who spent 50 years of her life in Norfolk. She was a self-employed beautician, and the wife of Moses Wooden. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Newkirk, of Peekskill NY.
