The Virginian Pilot January 4, 1960
Thomas Woodhouse, 90, husband of Emily Simmons Woodhouse and son of William D. 
and Sarah Pebworth Woodhouse, a native of Princess Anne County and a resident 
of Norfolk most of his life, died in Norfolk hospital Sunday at 1:40 a.m. 
 A member of First Methodist Church; Board of Trustees and the Official Board, 
he was a member of the Men's Friendly Bible Class and was presented a citation 
for 30 years' attendance.  He resided at 220 West 34th St.
Surviving are two nieces, Mrs. Felix Arnold of Norfolk and Mrs. L.M. Williams 
of Rockingham, N.C., and a nephew, W.D. Kellam of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home to First Methodist 
Church for a funeral service Tuesday at 2 p.m. to be held by the Rev. M.D. 
Newman, pastor.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
