The Virginian Pilot Sunday August 26, 1962
Ernest Bennett Woodhouse of 708 Stockley Gardens died in a local hospital 
Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
A native of Norfolk he was a member of the Methodist Church, Elk Lodge 38 and 
was a veteran of World War I. He was son of William T. and Mrs. Lucretia Hall 
Woodhouse. Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Miss Clara L. 
Woodhouse, and two brothers, William T. Woodhouse Jr. of Washington and James 
E. Woodhouse of St. Petersburg, Fla.
A funeral service will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery.
