Woodhouse, aged 43 years. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Brother, 631 Westover Ave, Friday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. The Rev. Sparks W. Melton, D. D., pastor of Freemason Street Baptist Church, will officiate. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery. Clark John Woodhouse, 43 years old, died at a local hospital yesterday morning at 4:40 o'clock after an illness of about a month. Since May 12, 1921, he has been justice of the peace in Norfolk. He had a host of friends in all walks of life and was for years identified with the political and civic affairs of the city. Mr. Woodhouse was a member of Norfolk Lodge 38, B. P. O. Elks, and a past exalted ruler of that lodge. He was a native of Princess Anne County and had lived in Norfolk for 38 years, residing at the time of his death at 1312 West Ocean View Avenue. Mr. Woodhouse was a son of Mrs. Bettie Duke Woodhouse and the late William McK Woodhouse, who also was prominently identified with the political and civic affairs of Norfolk. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Cannon Woodhouse; a daughter, Beth Clark Woodhouse; two sisters, Mrs. Walter H. Beamon and Mrs. W. Shelby Wilkins, and two brothers, Woodhouse, who also was prominently identified with the political and civic affairs of Norfolk. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Cannon Woodhouse; a daughter, Beth Clark Woodhouse; two sisters, Mrs. Walter H. Beamon and Mrs. W. Shelby Wilkins, and two brothers, W. D. and H. W.
