Norfolk Virginian Pilot Friday October 1, 1943
Willie Edwards Woodhouse, aged 67, husband of Blanche Flanagan Woodhouse died at 
the residence, 1331 East Ocean View avenue, yesterday morning at 7:15 o'clock.
Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Stephen McTague; a son, W.E. 
Woodhouse, Jr., all of Norfolk; two brothers, J.J. Woodhouse, of Petersburg and 
Alonzo Woodhouse, of South Norfolk; three grandchildren; two nieces and a 
nephew.  Mr. Woodhouse was a native of Currituck County, N.C. and had been a 
resident of Norfolk for 45  years.  He was a member of the Park Place Methodist 
Church and Corinthian Lodge No. 266 A.F. & A.M. and was in the employ of the 
Universal Life Insurance Company.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
