The Virginian-Pilot, Wednesday, October 15, 1969

NORFOLK - Ernest Woodhouse of 1449 Dungee St. died Monday in a hospital after a 
long illness.

A native of Norfolk, he was a son of the late Henry and Mrs. Sallie Woodhouse 
and the husband of Mrs. Emma N. Woodhouse.

He was retired from Norfolk Naval Air Station.

He was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church and Sons of Norfolk.

Besides his widow, surviving is a sister, Mrs. Ruth Poynter of Elizabeth, N.J.

The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home.

Additional Comments:
NORFOLK - A funeral service for Ernest R. Woodhouse will be held Saturday at 1 
p.m. in New Calvary Baptist Church by Dr. Milton A. Reid. Burial will be in 
Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
