Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, December 27, 1995 
Vernice M. Woodhouse, of the 2200 block of Courtney Ave., died Dec. 25, 1995, in
her residence.

She was retired from the Portsmouth Naval Hospital. She was a native of Norfolk
and a member of St. Marks Community Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Gwendolyn McNeil, Mildred Flemmings and
Laverne T. Alebios, all of Norfolk; two sons, James L. Talley and Preston M.
Reynolds, both of Norfolk; a brother, Vernon L. Talley of Sterling, Va.; 10
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a best friend, Annie White; and a host
of other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at at 1:30 p.m. Friday in St. Marks Community
Baptist Church by the Rev. E. Phillips. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery .
Friends may join the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home in charge.
