Norfolk - James "Jimmy" John Woodhouse, Jr., 94, passed away on May 1, 2015. He 
was born in Princess Anne County/City of Norfolk, on January 17, 1921, to James 
John Woodhouse, Sr. and Margaret Estelle Krahenbill Woodhouse. Jimmy married the 
love of his life, Mary Ellen McKiernan, on March 1, 1947. He is survived by his 
wife of 68 years, Mary Ellen, sons; James John Woodhouse, III, (Christine), of 
Rowlett, TX, Dr. Michael Lee Woodhouse (Lydia), of Norfolk, VA, daughter Ann Marie 
LeBrun (Robert) of Virginia Beach, VA, six grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren. Jimmy served his country during World War II for the US Army. He 
retired as a Master Electrician from E. G. Middleton, Inc., after 45 years of 
service. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home on 
Tidewater Drive, Wednesday, May 6th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Funeral Service will be 
at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday, May 7th at 11:00am, followed
