Norfolk - Mrs. Mildred S. Woodhouse, 49, of 419 W. 27th street, the widow of
Melvin Woodhouse, died recently in her home after a short illness.  A native of
Bells Mill, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Colen and Mrs. Catherine Small.
 She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs.
Lorraine Faison of Portsmouth and Miss Barbara Jean Banks of Norfolk; and three
grandchildren.
  A funeral service was held in Antioch Baptist Church by the Rev. L. S.
Williams.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Jones Funeral Home in charge.
