The Virginian Pilot Saturday January 27, 1979
Gleason H. Woodhurst of 1101 E. Indian River Road, a Norfolk native, died 
Thursday in Norfolk General Hospital.
 He was retired from Mozart Music Corp. and a member of St. Thomas AME Zion 
Church.
 Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Rebecca W. Fitzgerald of Brooklyn; a brother, 
Charles H. Woodhurst Jr. of Portsmouth; and his stepmother, Mrs. Annie L. 
Woodhurst.
 A funeral will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in St. Thomas AME Zion Church by the 
Rev. G.L. Scott. Burial with military honors, will be in Calvary Cemetery, with 
Pretlows Funeral Home, Norfolk, in Charge. Visitation will be at the funeral 
home from noon Saturday until the funeral.
