The Virginian Pilot Saturday February 16, 1963
PORTSMOUTH - Mrs. Lillie F. Woodworth, 80, of 126 Appomattox Ave. died 
Thursday in a Portsmouth hospital.
A Greenville, N.C. native, she was a daughter of Richard F. and Mrs. Martha 
Wheeler Irving and widow of James Henry Woodworth.  She lived in this area 
most of her life and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Edith Blackburn, Mrs. Josephine Mais and 
Mrs. Mary Biddle of Portsmouth and Mrs. Muriel L. Groom of Jacksonville, 
Fla.; three sons, Basil L. Woodworth of Portsmouth, Harvey J. Price and 
James T. Price; and 1 sister, Mrs. C.L. Williams of Long Beach, Calif.
The body was taken to Snellings Funeral Home, where a funeral service will 
be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. W. Carlton Long of Highland 
Baptist Church.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley.
