C.S. Woolford, who died in Brooklyn, N.Y., last Wednesday to which place she had gone for her health, will take place at the residence of her mother, Mrs. R.L. Fenton, Hawthorne Avenue, South Norfolk, this morning at 11 o'clock. Rev. W.A. Smith, pastor of the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church, will officiate and the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. ********************************************* The following article is from the Maryland Sun November 12, 1910 MRS C.A. WOOLFORD Mrs. Carvel A. Woolford, wife of Captain Woolford, of Dougherty's barge Worcester, died in a hospital in New York Wednesday. She had been the companion of her husband on the vessel, but was in ill health Mrs. Woolford was a native of Scotland, Va. The body will be taken to Berkley, near Norfolk, and buried today in Magnolia Cemetery. Captain Woolford is a brother of Capt. Julian Woolford, of the tug, Sea King and Capt. Marion O. Woolford, of the barge Clara Brooks.
