Virginian Pilot October 8, 1958

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Woolford, 88, daughter of E.W. and Mrs. Mary Bunn Wilcox, 
died Monday at 6:10 p.m. in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Woolford, a retired school teacher, was a native of Rocky Mount, N.C. and 
had been a resident of Norfolk for 56 years, residing at 602 Fairfax Ave. at the 
time of her death. She was a member of the Episcopal Church.
Surviving her are one brother, E.W. Wilcox, Jr., of Norfolk and a niece, Mrs. 
H.S. Brown Jr., of Martin, Ga.
Services will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments today at 3:30 
p.m. by the Rev. George Ballentine, of Christ and St. Luke's Church. Burial will 
be in Elmwood Cemetery.
