A native of Norfolk, she was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church and a former member of the senior choir. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Helen Langley, and a brother, the Rev. Moses Lewis, both of Norfolk; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. A funeral service was held in Queen Street Baptist Church by the Rev. J. Jasper Freeman. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The body was taken from Graves Funeral Home to the church.
