J. Jasper Freeman. He died at his residence, 618 Denby street June 1 at the age of 65. He had been ill about a month. A native of Lynchburg, VA, he was the son of the late Rubin and Mrs. Hattie Woolfork. He had lived in Norfolk 37 years and was employed by Johns Brothers fuel company for 35 years. He was a former member of the Queen Street Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Fannie Woolfork; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Langley, of Norfolk and 10 grandchildren. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home in charge.
