Virginian-Pilot, July 14, 1899

The funeral of Mr. Charles P. Woolhiser, who died Wednesday morning, took 
place yesterday at 4 p.m. from the residence of his brother-in-law, Mr. W.N. 
French, 211 North Gibbs Avenue. Rev. R.H. Bennett, of McKendree M.E. Church, 
officiating, assisted by Rev. J.P. Barrett, of Memorial Christian Temple. A 
large number attended, among them a number of his brother typographers. The 
interment was in Elmwood Cemetery, the following being pall-bearers: Messrs. 
J. Lloyd Gordon, R.R. Thomas, J.T. Gibbs, F. Cachelin, F. Mehagen and C.B. 
Curtis.
