Virginian Pilot October 7, 1957

John Hubert Worrell, 59, husband of the late Mary Jamison Worrell and son of 
Daisey Dozier Worrell of Norfolk and the late Norris B. Worrell, died at a 
Norfolk hospital Saturday at 12:30 p.m. after an illness of two months. 
He was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, residing at 346 Hamilton Ave.
Surviving other than his mother are two daughters; Mrs. Barbara Viers of 
Norfolk and Mrs. Mary W. Lewis of Yellow Springs, Ohio, three sons, John H., 
Benjamin E. and Hubert L. Worrell all of Norfolk, three sisters, Mrs. Mildred 
Wagner of Norfolk, Mrs. Margaret Hargrove of Portsmouth and Mrs. Miriam Henchey 
of Norfolk; three brothers, Arthur C. Worrell of Miami, Fl., Howard E. Worrell 
of California, and L. B. Worrell of Norfolk.
The body was removed to Cox Funeral Home where services will be conducted 
tomorrow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
