He was the son of the late Eddie and Susie Worrell and a native of Norfolk. He is survived by a daughter, Tiffany Williams of New York; a son, Calvin Smith of Norfolk; four sisters, Gloria Mosley, Susie Worrell of Norfolk, Barbara Holloway of Virginia Beach and Adrienne Worrell of Williamsburg; a brother, Eddie Worrell of Norfolk; and a host of nieces and nephews. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was employed by Dillard's Department Store until his sudden illness. He was a devoted member of Calvary Revival Church. A viewing will take place Monday after 1 p.m. in Hale Funeral Home, 2100 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk. Pastor Harold McPherson of Calvary Revival Church will conduct a homegoing service Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery . The family will receive friends at 6534 Diesel Court, Norfolk.
