Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, August 18, 2002 
Lindsay Leon Worrell departed this life Aug. 12, 2002, in Lynn Shores Nursing
Home, Virginia Beach. He was the son of the late Eddie and Susie Worrell and a
native of Norfolk.

He is survived by a daughter, Tiffany Williams of New York; a son, Calvin Smith
of Norfolk; four sisters, Gloria Mosley, Susie Worrell of Norfolk, Barbara
Holloway of Virginia Beach and Adrienne Worrell of Williamsburg; a brother,
Eddie Worrell of Norfolk; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was employed by
Dillard's Department Store until his sudden illness. He was a devoted member of
Calvary Revival Church.

A viewing will take place Monday after 1 p.m. in Hale Funeral Home, 2100
Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk. Pastor Harold McPherson of Calvary Revival Church
will conduct a homegoing service Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow
at Calvary Cemetery . The family will receive friends at 6534 Diesel Court,
Norfolk.
