The Norfolk Virginian Pilot March 16, 1938


Mrs. Kate Campbell Wrenn, widow of McDonald L. Wrenn and daughter of the late 
Charles and Elizabeth F. Campbell, died in Richmond yesterday afternoon at 2 
o’clock. Mrs. Wrenn was a native of Richmond and a former well-known resident 
of Norfolk. She is survived by one son, McDonald L. Wrenn, Jr.; one sister, 
Mrs. W.J. Whitehurst of Richmond and a brother, William Campbell, of Richmond.
Funeral services will be held at the residence, 2616 Monument Avenue, 
Richmond, Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the Wrenn Mausoleum in 
Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock with the Rev. W. 
Taylor Willis, Rector of Christ and St. Luke’s Church, officiating.
