Virginian Pilot January 14, 1980

ROANOKE - Mrs. Helen C. Wright, 79, the wife of Rear Adm. Harold J. Wright and a 
native of Olean, N.Y., died Saturday in a hospital.
Mrs. Wright formerly lived in Norfolk for many years and was a member of Sacred 
Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Tyler of Stamford, Conn.; two 
sisters, Miss Mary Cahill and Mrs. Ann Preston of Norfolk; six grandchildren; 
and three great-grandchildren.
The body was sent to H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, for a Joyful Mass 
of the Resurrection to be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church by the Rev. Fr. Vincent Connery. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, 
Norfolk.

WRIGHT, MRS. HELEN C. - In Roanoke, Va., Saturday, Mrs. Helen C. Wright, widow 
of RAdm Harold J. Wright, in the 80th year of her age. The body will be taken 
from H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for 
services today (Tuesday) at 10:00 a.m. Friends are invited to attend. Burial, 
St. Mary's Cemetery.
