Norfolk Virginian Pilot Saturday January 4, 1936
Miss India J. Wright, daughter of the late Joseph C. and Mrs. Mary Culpepper 
Wright, died yesterday morning at 8 o'clock at her residence 416 State 
street, Berkley, after a long illness. She was a native and lifelong 
resident of Berkley.
Miss Wright is survived ty two sisters, Mrs. S.J. Browder, Norfolk and Mrs. 
M.M. Jones, Washington, N.C.; a brother, J. Edwin Wright, Norfolk; nephew 
and several nieces.
She was a member of the Christian Church, Berkley, and the Woodman's Circle.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home this 
afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
