Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, October 24, 1991 
Otis Wright of the 6400 block of Faraday Court, died Oct. 20, 1991, in his home.

Mr. Wright was born in Durham, N.C.

He had retired as assistant manager of the commissary at the Norfolk Naval Base
after 20 years.

He was a member of Mount Zion Interdenominational Community Church and served on
the trustee board. He was a Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara A. Wright; two stepdaughters, Leslie Ellick
of Los Angeles and Terri Pennington of North Carolina; six sons, the Rev. Andre
Wright-Ellick of Chespaeake, Jeffrey Wright-Ellick of Chesterfield County, Va.,
Gregory Wright-Ellick, Rodney Wright-Ellick, Otis Wright Jr. and Corey Wright,
all of Norfolk; his mother, Ethel Wright of Durham; four sisters, Catherine
Wright, Edna Taylor and Elma Rodgers, all of Durham, and Lillian Alston of
Washington; a brother, Jesse Wright of Durham; and six grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in First Baptist Church
Campostella by the Rev. Willie McNair. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery .
Friends may join the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is handling
arrangements.
