Mrs. Alma H. Wright, 60, of 423 Middle avenue died in a Norfolk hospital on 
April 1 after a short illness.

The daughter of Alfred and Mrs. Eliza Henderson, and a native of Darlington 
County SC, she had lived in Norfolk 42 years and ws a member of Queen Street 
Baptist Church.

Funeral services were Sunday, April 3, at Queen Street Baptist, with Dr. J. 
Jasper Freeman officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Daisy Kelling of Boston MA, Mrs. Geneva 
Rouse of Lumber Ridge NC, and Mrs. Edna Henderson of Hartsville NC; four 
brothers, Otto Henderson of Jacksonville NC, Leroy Henderson and Robert 
Henderson of Reds Springs NC and Lavorn Henderson of Philadelphia; 11 
nieces, eight nephews, and other relatives.

Jones Funeral Home handled funeral arrangements.
