F. Wright & Co., commission merchants, No. 31-35 Commerce Street, from apoplexy, in his room, No. 72, Atlantic Hotel, at 3 o'clock yesterday, where for three months he had resided, was a severe shock to his many friends in this community. The deceased was 56 years of age and is survived by his widow. He attended church Sunday night apparently in the best of health, and his sudden demise is a great surprise to his large circle of acquaintances. The deceased was treasurer of the Freemason Street Baptist Church, and also secretary of the Sunday School. He was a prominent Mason. The funeral will be held from the residence of his brother-in-law, Mr. D. W. Warren, No. 280 Bank Street, Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
