Virginian Pilot Tuesday March 16, 1909 

Mrs. Mary C. Wright, a well known and highly esteemed lady of South Norfolk, died 
at her home in Commerce street Saturday night at 11 o'clock after a long illness.
The deceased was a native of North Carolina, but had been living here for the past 
fifteen years.  She was 58 years of age and is survived by her husband and several 
children.  The funeral occurred yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the 
residence, and was conducted by Rev. R.B. Scott of Liberty Street M.E. Church.  
The interment was in Magnolia Cemetery.
