Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark February 15, 1919

Mrs. Susan Rowe Wright, aged 35 years, wife of J.L. Wright, died early 
yesterday morning in the Sarah Leigh Hospital after an illness of eight days 
as the result of pneumonia.
She was a daughter of Mrs. Alice Brown Rowe and the late Samuel Z. Rowe of 
Crisfield, Md.  She had lived in this section twelve years and was well 
known and highly esteemed.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Miss Susie Wright; 
three brothers, Lorenzo Rowe of Northampton County, John Rowe of Richmond 
and George Robert Rowe, with the American Expeditionary Army in France and a 
sister, Mrs. H.L. Sparrow, in Northampton County.
The funeral services will be conducted at the grave in Magnolia Cemetery 
Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock by Rev. O.D. Poythress, pastor of the South 
Norfolk Christian Church.
