Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, November 2, 1996 
Ruth E. Wright of the 1200 block of Reservoir Ave. died Oct. 31, 1996, in
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

A native of Norfolk, Mrs. Wright was a housewife and the widow of Willie Wright.
She was also a member of First Church of Christ Holiness U.S.A.

Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Bartley of Norfolk, Louise Wright of
Norfolk, Joyce Bennett of New York and Arllena McRae of Norfolk; sons, Michael
Wright of New York, Willie Wright of Texas and Dennis Wright of Norfolk; her
mother, Jeorgiana Sykes of Norfolk; three sisters, Rosa Wallace of New York,
Jeorgiana Marable of Pennsylvania and Jackqueline Riddick of Norfolk; 14
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and
friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in First Church of Christ Holiness
U.S.A., Norfolk, by Bishop Eugene Brown Sr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery .
Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge. The remains will be
ready for viewing at 3 p.m. Sunday and will be taken to the church at 10 a.m.
The family will assemble at 1210 Reservoir Ave. at 11 a.m. for the processional.
