Miss May Wright,aged 48, died at her residence, 819 West Ocean avenue, yesterday
morning at 3:30 o’clock after an illness of seven months.  She was a native and
lifelong resident of Norfolk, the daughter of Mrs. Lily Crowley Wright and the
late William B. F. Wright.  Miss Wright is survived in addition to her mother,
by six sisters, Mrs. L. C. McCoy, New York City;  Mrs. J. W. Philbrook and Mrs.
Lawrence Foster, Norfolk;  Mrs. Tyler W. Brown and Mrs. Edwin A. Taylor,
Coronado, Calif.;  and Miss Helen Wright, Annapolis, MD, and several nieces and
one nephew.

Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Bro.,
Westover avenue at Manteo street, Saturday at 12 o’clock, noon.   Burial will be
private in the family plot in Elmwood.
