Ashley Brooke Wright, 20, of the 49th block of Bedford Road, when home to be with 
her Lord, on Nov. 1, 2003.

Ashley was born in Norfolk and was a resident of Newport News. She was the 
daughter of Bruce Allen Wright and Deborah Anne Romeo Wright. She was a student at 
Thomas Nelson Community College and was a 2001 graduate of Woodside High School. 
She was a former employee of Herman's Harbor House Restaurant and was a Roman 
Catholic.

Ashley is survived by her parents, both of Newport News; her paternal 
grandparents, Pacific and Barbara Romeo of Norfolk; three uncles, Mike Romeo, 
Steven Romeo and Robert Romeo; one aunt, Deborah Sue Romeo; and four great uncles, 
Clarence Unser, Art Bruno, John Martin and Robert Martin; four great-aunts, Jo Ann 
Bruno, Mary Unser, Kay Martin, Ruth Martin; and her best friend and soul sister, 
Jennifer Kosler; her family supporter, Mike Kosler; and her god-parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. Peter G. Decker Jr.

A Christian wake service will be held in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk 
Chapel, on Tuesday at 7 p.m., followed by a visitation with the family. Burial 
will be private.
