Virginian Pilot December 26, 1956

Mrs. Julia Olivia Litchfield Wright, 83, widow of Edward Hudson Wright and 
daughter of the late David Calvin and Mrs. Mary Malbone Litchfield, died 
yesterday at 7:15 a.m. at a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Wright was a native of Princess Anne County and a lifelong resident of this 
section, residing at 101 Botetourt Apartments, 500 Botetourt St., at the time of 
her death.
Surviving her are one daughter, Miss Mary Litchfield Wright, one son, Herman 
Linwood Wright, a granddaughter, Mrs. Albert Harvey Handley Jr., all of Norfolk; 
a grandson Auldis Edward Wright Jr., of Richmond and two great-granddaughters, 
Miss Glenna Wright Handley and Miss Elizabeth Stuart Handley, of Norfolk.
Services will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Apartments tomorrow at 2 p.m. by 
the Rev. John A. McKenry, D.D. pastor of Ghent Methodist Church. Burial will be 
in Elmwood Cemetery.
