Norfolk - Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Wright of 726 Bank street were held
Thursday at Solid Rock Holiness Church of which she was a member.  Elder Alex
Varum officiated.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.

A native of Aurora, NC, she was the wife of James Wright and the daughter of
Joseph Farmville and Mrs. Emma T. Farmville, both deceased.

Survivors are, besides her husband, a brother, Chester Farmville of Norfolk; 
and four sisters, Mrs. Lola Perkins and and Mrs. Annie Stilley of Chesapeake,
and Mrs. Ernest Jackson and Mrs. Mamie Hams of Aurora.
