The Norfolk Virginian, September 09, 1896


Dr. James Wright died at his residence, No. 214 Bute Street yesterday morning 
at 5 o’clock. He was seventy four years of age, and leaves a widow, four sons 
and two daughters. The deceased was a native of Norfolk, but practiced in 
Princess Anne County. He returned to the city some twelve years ago, however 
since which time he has resided here continuously. The funeral will take place 
at 4 o’clock this afternoon.
