Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark October 20, 1935

WRIGHT - At her residence, New Suffolk Boulevard, Norfolk County, Va., Saturday 
morning, October 19, 1935, at 7:50 o'clock, MRS. MARGARET ELIZABETH WRIGHT, aged 
64, widow of George Thomas Wright and daughter of the late William C. and Mrs. 
Margaret Sutton.
Funeral services will be conducted at the residence MONDAY AFTERNOON at 2 
o'clock. Friends and acquaintances invited to attend. Interment in Elmwood 
Cemetery, Norfolk.

Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Wright, 64, widow of George Thomas Wright, and daughter 
of the late William C. and Mrs. Margaret Sutton, died at her residence on the 
new Suffolk Highway, Norfolk County, at 7:50 o'clock yesterday morning.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. C.A. Williamson, of Norfolk; Mrs. L.P. 
Jacobs, of Williamsburg and Miss Margaret Wright, of Norfolk County; three sons, 
W.C. Wright, of Norfolk; K.W. Wright, of Beaufort, N.C. and C.P. Wright, of 
Victoria; a brother, Joseph D. Sutton of Norfolk County and a sister, Miss 
Henrietta Sutton, also of Norfolk County; two nieces, Mrs. J.S. Bechtel, of 
Baltimore and Mrs. V.G. Mazara, of New Orleans and 10 grandchildren and two 
great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Wright was a native of Hertford, N.C. but had resided in Norfolk County for 
the last 33 years. She was a member of Deep Creek Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the 
residence. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk.
